Tulip Trees

Several of these have appeared across the Meadows & Links in the last few years.

Most are still young, some still in their tree guards, but they're easy to spot throughout the growing season because of their distinctive glossy leaves (resembling a tulip).

The leaves are distinctively yellow at first in spring

then turn an attractive reddish-gold in autumn.

They have beautiful flowers too: Edinburgh may be too cold, but fingers crossed. Pics will appear here if our trees start to blossom.
